Monitoring and Evaluation Officer ()

Position: Background and Responsibilities

The M&E Office will support M&E activities related to the work of the funded partners in the area including all funding sources used for YIIFSWA project. The post will involve considerable extraction and computer entry of data from field reports, some analysis, and frequent travelling across the country. Most importantly, she/he is responsible for ensuring that primary stakeholders are involved to the fullest extent possible in undertaking M&E
The tasks of the M&E Officer will include the following 
• Supervise all activities in the project areas;
• Design and organise surveys; 
• Gather data of all activities in accordance with agreed-on procedures and standards; 
• Prepare and write the technical reports;
• Execute routine data quality control and checking of others’ work. 
• Ensure that the targets specified in the project are met at the specified time;
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the M&E Specialist and YIIFSWA Project/IITA Management
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned


Qualification and Experience


The candidate should have MSc in agricultural economics, economics, development or marketing, development management and planning, or sociology from a reputable university.
